Richard skied the last degree to the South Pole starting from 89 degrees south, battling the last 60 nautical miles/111 km to kick start his 737 Challenge.
Mount Vinson is part of the Ellsworth mountain range in Antarctica and was the last of the Seven Summits to be discovered and climbed.
The highest mountain outside of the Himalayas at 6,959m/22,830ft. Richard summited Aconcagua during a very small weather window.
Richard was joined on this leg by Marie Curie nurse Janet Suart and friends and family, who were all fundraising for the 737 Challenge.
