Extreme Wales with Richard Parks hits BBC 2 tomorrow
The second series of #ExtremeWales will air on BBC2 tomorrow at 7.30pm.
Having broadcast to BBC Wales viewers already, homes across the UK will now be able to see Richard take on three more adrenaline-filled adventures in Wales.
So if you missed Extreme Wales with Richard Parks – Series 2 the first, or second time around, tune in tomorrow!
Tomorrow’s Episode 1 sees Richard set off on a three-day wet and wild coastal adventure off the Pembrokeshire coast at St David’s Head. Then it’s onto two wheels in Episode 2 as Richard faces a self-supported off-road cycling expedition from east to west Wales, from Offa’s Dyke to Barmouth via the Cambrian Mountains, before an epic final episode where he takes to the skies for a south to north Wales aerial expedition by paramotor.
Richard stated; “As the days get lighter and longer it’s fantastic timing to be reminded just how amazing an adventure playground Wales is. Whatever level of adventure you’re looking for, there’s something for you.”
“This second series sees me ramp up the challenge each episode culminating in episode 3 as I take to sky! I’ve been overwhelmed with the response of people being inspired to get outside and explore having experienced Wales through the series and I’m proud that a wider audience will be able to enjoy it on BBC2. It was so much fun filming with such a great team. Although tomorrow will be the first opportunity for some across the UK to watch it, for others it’ll be the third time they tune in – seems people enjoy watching me suffer! Ha!”
