Richard starts the Tour Divide

Today, at 07:50 Banff, Canada time (14:50 UK time) along with about 169 other adventurous souls, Richard will start the 2015 Tour Divide Race. A 2,745 mile (4,418km) self supported and off road time trial to Antelope Wells on the Mexican border.
Here Richard talks about his feelings, his ‘gooch!’ and his bike set up before the race in his first Tour Divide blog.
The Tour Divide follows the Great Divide mountain bike route, the world's longest off-road cycling route, which travels through Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, and the United States of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico.
Richard will take on the Tour Divide as a training block, as part of the preparation for his next world first expedition, which for the moment remains confidential and is planned for 2016.
